Ruby on Rails, or rails, is a server-side web application development framework written in the Ruby programming language, and David Heinemeier Hansson developed it under the MIT License. While a strong development language such as Ruby, developers were skeptical of it initially until the introduction of “Rails”. What Rails actually does is, it provides a structure to web developers for all the codes. It is manufactured to ease web application programming by predicting what every developer needs. Rails require less code but provide more capabilities than any other language or framework. While most developers agree that Ruby is handy, some see it as a dying star. They worry about what might happen in the future and where the legitimacy and usefulness of the language stand. To discuss this and many more things about ROR we sat down with one of our ROR specialists Ashrut Panchal and had a deep discussion about the technology. Tune in to know more. Figma is a relatively new design tool that is browser-based.

This means you don’t need to install it locally or buy expensive licenses to give team members access to design files. This has made design more accessible than ever and that’s why many developers now find themselves needing to learn how to work with design tools.

Since many developers don’t have a lot of experience playing around with design tools, Figma has made it easier to learn designing through a single platform.

To discuss more on Figma more, we sat together with two of our design experts Irshad Khan and Jay Sher and talked about various tools that Figma has to offer.

Java is one of the most popular technologies for application development. Tens of thousands of enterprise applications are powered by Java and millions of people use them daily. Compared to C, C++, and other languages where memory management is mostly done manually by the programmers, Java is self-regulating and manages memory (free-up and reclamation) on its own, automatically.

Despite this, performance problems can also occur in Java-based applications and when a problem happens, it can be business-impacting.

To know more about the ins and outs of Java and how to master it we sat together with two of our experienced Java developers Anushka Solanki and Umair Husain to discuss many elements surrounding Java and its frameworks. The key points of the conversation were:

Java and its frameworks
Java, C++ and the differences between them
Developing games with Java
Correlation between Python and Java
Java communities and resources
Future of the language

Managing a large-scale application can be tedious, especially when built without a well-planned structure and strict code organization strategy. It can lead to disaster during maintenance and should be avoided at all costs. This disaster is caused by changes made to the codebase and new features as the project grows in the user base.

Nest.js was built to offer solutions to such code structure and code organization strategy problems. It is one of the fastest-growing Node.js frameworks for building efficient, scalable, and enterprise-grade backend applications.

To know more about this language we sat down with two of our solution engineers Chirag Agrawal and Prabhansh Dhagat and had a conversation around topics such as:

Nest and its use cases
Various libraries of Nest
Nest vs Express
Nest with Typescript
Is learning Nestjs worth the time and its future

What do Python programmers need to make their life easier?

The answer is frameworks. By automating the implementation of redundant tasks, frameworks cut development time and enable developers to focus greatly on application logic rather than routine elements. According to recent trends, Python’s popularity has been steadily increasing in the past decade or so, with approximately 15% of Stack Overflow questions tagged “python” in 2021. And as such, the corresponding technologies of Python gain similar popularity. It is common to see questions like “What is a Python framework?” or side-by-side Python framework comparisons.

To discuss it further, we sat together with two of our solution engineers, Sumit Chawla and Shubham Jain. The conversation will take you around topics like:

Python frameworks and how they work
Automation through Flask
Django and Flask use cases
What does the future of Python look like
Flask or Django, which one is better and why?
Can we use both Flask and Django frameworks together?
